Guidestar Profile

Corporate Matching Gifts

Matching gift programs are a means by which companies support employee charitable giving. As a 501(c)(3) organization, PCPlus is eligible to receive such donations. 65% of Fortune 500 companies, as well as many smaller companies, have matching gift programs. The majority of companies match donations at a 1:1 ratio, although ratios can vary. Check with your employer to see if it has a matching gift program.

United Way Designation

Although we are not a member organization, you can request that your United Way donation be designated to PCPlus.

Gifts of Stock

Donating stock instead of cash can have benefits for you and be an effective method of supporting PCPlus. Shares given outright instead of selling them and then donating the proceeds, allows you to avoid capital gains tax and earn a standard tax deduction. PCPlus does not pay taxes on the donation and can use the entire donation to assist in our mission. Call Laura Curran at 513 321-3103 for more information. Again, be sure to check with your accountant before making any contribution of stock.

Planned Giving

You can help couples choose life for generations to come with a gift that fits into your overall estate or financial plan. Planned giving allows you to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income and come to fruition only upon your death. The most common planned gift is a bequest in your will or living trust. A prevalent misconception is that planned giving is only for the “wealthy.” However, people of modest means can make a difference through planned giving. Contact Tracy Green at 513-321-3100 or TGreen@pcplus.org to learn how you can support our mission through a legacy gift.
